Install Discord from the official download page or via Homebrew/winget/distro packages, then confirm the app launches.
Step 1
Install Discord from https://discord.com/download (macOS/Windows/Linux installers). Or: macOS brew install --cask discord ; Windows winget install -e --id Discord.Discord ; Linux use the .deb/.tar.gz from the download page or your distro’s discord package if available.
Step 2
Launch Discord once and confirm the login/welcome window opens.
